We work across Yorkshire, restoring the facades of both residential and commercial properties. Here is a period home in West Yorkshire where we recently carried out chemical cleaning.
The facade was cleaned with chemicals, giving a gentle clean that does not strip the stonework of its character and leaving the face of the stone intact.
As you can see from the photo on the right, the chemicals remove years of environmental staining, really lightening the face of the stone and bringing your facade back to life.
Before cleaning commences, windows are protected with polythene to prevent the chemical from damaging the glass.
In the photograph below you can see one of the property’s window jambs, which has become very blackened over time. The chemicals gently remove the grime without damaging the stone, leaving it looking much cleaner and revealing once more the natural coloration of the stonework.
