BRC Leeds Ltd carried out chemical cleaning on this period property, near Huddersfield.
The transformation of this facade is clear when you compare the left-hand side with the right-hand gable elevation, which hasn’t been cleaned. The beauty of chemical cleaning is that some colour variation still remains on the surface of the stone, maintaining its character.
We also carried out repointing works here, using lime mortar, and applied Stormdry Masonry Cream, a breathable water repellent.
